Rebuilding the Icon Cache Database in windows 7

Windows 7 still shows old icons after change! I found a solution but I don't think it's the best but it works.

Close all folders that are currently open.

  1. Press CTRL+SHIFT+ESC key sequence
  2. Right-click on the Explorer.exe process and kill it by selecting  End Process.
  3. At File menu of Task Manager, select New Task (Run…)
  4. Type CMD.EXE, and click OK
  5. At thePrompt window, type the commands line by line and press ENTER after each command:
    CD /d %userprofile%\AppData\Local
    DEL IconCache.db /a
  6. In Task Manager, click File, select New Task (Run…)
  7. Type EXPLORER.EXE, and click OK.

RadAjaxManager problem with radiobuttons - work only on first postback

The key is that you must add the all radiobuttons to your radajaxmanager updated controls. somthing like this

ajaxManager.AjaxSettings.AddAjaxSetting(rbtn1, ddl, pnlLoading);
ajaxManager.AjaxSettings.AddAjaxSetting(rbtn1, rbtn2,
ajaxManager.AjaxSettings.AddAjaxSetting(rbtn1, rbtn1,
ajaxManager.AjaxSettings.AddAjaxSetting(rbtn2, ddl, pnlLoading);
ajaxManager.AjaxSettings.AddAjaxSetting(rbtn2, rbtn2,
ajaxManager.AjaxSettings.AddAjaxSetting(rbtn2, rbtn1,

This will solve the problem. because after every postback all the dropdowns must updated.

SQL Server 2008 - Saving changes is not permitted. The changes you have made require the following tables to be dropped and re-created.

When you save a table in Management Studio that requires the table be dropped and recreated behind the scenes, the change will fail by default with the below warning.

In SQL Server, tables are dropped, recreated and reloaded automatically for you without having to worry about what's going on behind the curtains but this may create issues for some users. This behavior is required upon a number of actions but most common is creating a new column in a specific location in the table.

Warning Message:

Saving changes is not permitted. The changes you have made require the following tables to be dropped and re-created. You have either made changes to a table that can't be re-created or enabled the option Prevent saving changes that require the table to be re-created.

To fix this in Management Studio, go to Tools -> Options then go to the Designer Page and uncheck "Prevent saving changes that require table re-creation".

RadFormDecorator Problem with RTL Pages and checkboxes

The problem is that when clicking on the checkbox/radiobutton, then the vertical scrollbar jumps to the top!

This could happen in some scenarios because of the way RadFormDecorator styles checkboxes. When RadFormDecorator is used, the real checkboxes are hidden outside of the viewport. When the decorated checkbox is clicked however, browsers try to focus the real checkbox, hence the "jumping". To avoid that, the only thing that you usually need to do is to set position:relative to the parent container.

In this case however, because of the RTL mode, the approach is a bit different and need to add the following CSS the page:

   position: static !important;
   float: right;
   outline: 0;
   width: 0;
   height: 0;
   margin-top: -5px;
   FILTER: alpha(opacity=0)
   -moz-opacity: 0
   opacity: 0
